This powerful Mantra, shining through the in-cut of this Light Sculpture, has been chanted since the ancient days in India. Its literal meaning is  "I bow to the great Lord Shiva", inwardly it represents the attitude of the devotee to surrender to the inner divine Light and Grace. The trident of Shiva in the Yogic teachings represents our astral spine of the 3 subtle nerves called IDA, PINGALA and SUSHUMNA Nadi. Through Yoga practice our inner Life force will rise through the central channel of Sushumma to unite with the infinite divine  consciousness (Shiva) in the 7th chakra. (Sahasrara).
